Stop !!! Stop !!! Stop !!! Educated Illiterates

I was travelling back from my home town and had just boarded the bus. There was a field next to the bus parking plot and I was observing a family of 4 members(Husband, Wife, a Daughter of around 8 years and another girl of around 6 years of age) putting their blood and sweat in the field. The lady was busy in spreading Manure on the field while the man was desperately trying to get the bore working to water the field. The elder daughter of 8 years was helping her mother.

I saw a man of around 40 years age, well dressed in crisply ironed Kurta Payjama, looked like pretty well educated person, heading towards the field. The owner of the field was on the diagonally opposite end busy with the pump. So this so called Educated man took the chance and started peeing in the field. To his bad luck, when he was about to finish, the field owner saw him and came shouting. But this guy made sure he boarded the bus before the field owner could reach him. The field owner is shouting but this bas$$$d silently slips in the bus and starts talking to his mates, behaving as if nothing has happened. The field owner came to the bus conductor and complained, and shamefully the bus conductor who is for sure less educated then the culprit apologises to the field owner...I was in another bus and wanted to go and slap the so called Educated Illiterate.

But I believe, this is not new....Most of the defaulters of rules and responsibilities, behaving very insensitively are Educated people....I wonder is this what education teaches us?....Isnt education suppose to make us more humble, more responsible, more sensitive, more empathetic towards others????

  1. Hello Sid, we see such cases everywhere. And it makes us think, why people do such things ? How can a person forget about their morals ? Yes education helps to understand things better, but the case you mentioned is about the common sense and personal behavior. People should understand this and control their behavior for the betterment of the society as whole.
